In many states where SREC programs are proliferating, SRECs are becoming a key component of the decision to go solar. From the financial consideration of the value of SRECs to the actual registration, creation and management of these certificates, installers are increasingly faced with the pressure of advising clients and creating service to help them manage their SRECs. SRECTrade has developed an expertise in the SREC markets through its auction platform. The cross-state trading platform gives buyers and sellers access to multiple state markets. How it works
Revenue Share: SRECTrade participates in a revenue sharing plan with our partner installers.
Valuation: With the insight into the market gained through the experience developing public auctions, SRECTrade is well suited to provide professional advice regarding the SREC market dynamics.
Registration: Owners of newly installed solar systems will only need to fill out the initial registration forms provided. SRECTrade will then apply the facility for state certification in the various states in which it is eligible, set up the facility SREC tracking account with the appropriate tracking platform (GATS, NE-GIS, etc), and set up the customer's EasyREC trading account.
Creation: If required, meter readings are supplied to SRECTrade either directly by clients, using an online tool or by the installer. SRECTrade tracks client progress: reporting on generation, the number of SRECs created and the price at which they were sold.
Management: SRECTrade places certificates in the auctions monthly at a minimum price determined by the client or installer. After the auction closes, SRECs are transferred to buyer through the tracking platform and payment is then sent either directly to the client or to the installer.

Costs
Since SREC sales represent a fixed pie to installers, we keep costs low. The potentially high costs of selling SRECs impact the cost to your customers of installing your solar panels - the higher the fees, the more it costs them to buy from you. SRECTrade can affect the ROI for your customers by keeping costs low. Our installers are able to charge the lowest fees to their clients for SREC sales, meanwhile, installers are saving on employee expenses and getting compensated by SRECTrade for their efforts!!!
