Fast and Easy install

| | Shockoe Solar recently installed a 2.2 KW system at the Wolf Creek Water Reclamation Facility in Abingdon Virginia. The system install was flawless and the system was up in and running in 2 days. A recommended substitution of the specified inverter resulted in cost savings and a better system. The installers were very knowledgeable and didn’t mind taking the extra time to explain how the system worked and how to maintain it. We will continue to include them in our list of approved solar installers for new projects.

| | Working with Bernie, Hein and Megan was terrific. We definitely made the right choice. They stuck with us through a long decision-making process, gave us lots of options, did great work, and cut us a break whenever possible. And they were great to work with! Highly recommmended. |

Ground Mounted Home PV Installation

| | I want to start this review at the end. My wife and I plan to expand our PV array and also to install solar hot water. We will be repeat Shockoe customers because they did such a great job with our PV project.
Shockoe made it completely turnkey for us. They studied possible mounting places and solutions, made a recommendation, drew up a detailed design, built a great looking mount, hooked everything up, and even cleaned up the mess made by running the power across our yard.
They also handled the permitting and inspections process. Their expertise was critical to this because our local inspectors had no prior experience with this kind of project.
They helped with the documentation we needed for federal and state credit for the project. They made it easy for us to arrange sale of our SRECs.
I had never heard of Shockoe before we read about them in paper, but I am sure glad we picked them for our project!

| | I came across Shockoe Solar when I was researching solar installers. The installation went very smoothly, and without a hitch. They were very thorough and took care of all the necessary paperwork, permits, subcontractors, etc.
I have only had one problem since the installation in August of 2009. I called them to report the problem, and they immediately responded, dropped what they were doing, came to my house and fixed the problem. In fact, they were at a conference 90 miles away at the time! Now that |
