Whether you are looking purely for a return or you are specifically targeting green investments, SRECs can be a unique oportunity. Through SRECTrade you can buy a prepaid forward which will convert into an SREC in the future. When the forward matures, you can retire it (generally for utilities and load serving entities), transfer it or sell it right into our auction.

Open an account: An account is free and gives you access to more data and information about current and historical pricing in both our auction and forwards markets..

Fund your account: Deposit money into your SRECTrade account to buy prepaid forwards or to serve as collateral in our traditional forwards market.

Buy SRECs forward: There is a multitude of research and tools as well as maturities and states to choose between. The markets are open from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm ET  Monday through Friday (Closed holidays according SIFMA holiday calendar).

Sell SRECs forward or in Monthly Auction: Before a prepaid SREC forward matures, you can resell them in our exchange. And after a forward settles you can sell your SREC in our monthly auction or transfer the SREC elsewhere.
