Why we're different:

SRECTrade aspires to take a daunting process and make it as customer-friendly as possible. We partner with our clients to give them information they need to get the best prices for their SRECs. We do not buy SRECs and do not profit from markups or hidden price spreads. Our approach is to educate our customers and make managing their SRECs as easy as possible. Our revenues are percentage based, so our interests are always aligned with those of our customers.

The EasyREC experience:

Once enrolled in EasyREC, we will submit your application for state certification, set up your SREC tracking account, automatically check your account for SRECs and place your SRECs for sale. You can join Managed Sales or set the minimum price at enrollment and you can update it or opt-out at anytime. Everything is accessible in your Online EasyREC Account.

To get started:

  1. Create an account online and complete the online EasyREC application. If you already have an existing account, please contact us to activate the EasyREC enrollment option on your account.
  2. We will register your system with the state, a process that takes 6-12 weeks to complete.

Once enrolled and set up:

  1. Meter readings are reported monthly either manually or through an online monitoring device. SRECs that are then created can be viewed in your online EasyREC account.
  2. Any SRECs that are available will automatically be managed by our highly experienced brokerage team, and you are able to retain as much control over your SRECs as you prefer.
  3. When your SRECs are transacted, we will send a check/direct deposit within 10 business days of the transaction close. Unsold SRECs will be banked in your account until they are sold in a future sale.
  4. This process is repeated every month.

Let's say you generate 1 SREC a month and offer a minimum price of $100. If in January, the market transaction price is $110, then your SREC is sold and we send you a check for $110 less the service fee. If in February, March, April and May, the clearing price is below $100, then your 4 SRECs are held. If the market transaction price is $100 in June, your 4 SRECs are sold for a total of $400 and we send you your payment less fees. Read what our customers have to say on our Testimonials page.

More information:

State Certifications: SRECTrade will submit an application to your home state's SREC program free of charge. A $50 application fee per state applies to any out-of-state applications.

EasyREC Fees: A service fee is added to the transaction cost charged to all sellers and will vary based on the size of your facility.
