SRECTrade EasyREC Fees
Rationale: Buyers generally purchase significant volumes of SRECs in single transactions from large solar facilities. Through our transactions, SRECTrade offers the same volume of SRECs in a single transaction, but from numerous solar facilities. As a result, our transaction costs are higher because we work with solar facilities of all sizes. The fee structure addresses this by lowering the buyer fee to a fixed industry standard of $5 per SREC, while establishing a fee schedule to sellers based on the volume of their transactions.

Customers enrolled in EasyREC will see the following fees assessed for the service provided:

Fees are assessed from the transaction clearing price. For example, if an SREC sells for $100, a facility under 50 kW will be charged a service fee of $5 and a transaction fee of $2, resulting in a net price of $93. The $5 per SREC buyer fee is not reflected in the clearing price and is paid separately by the buyer.
This fee structure went into effect after the July 8th, 2011 auction and the EasyREC service fee did not change for existing customers at that point.
